Jimmy Choo Dog Collection

Mañana 15 de mayo se pone a la venta la nueva colección cápsula de Jimmy Choo. ¿Os habéis fijado que hay un perro, verdad? Pues si, se trata de la nueva mascota V.I.P. del mundo de la moda que se une así a la gata de Karl Lagerfeld. Todo empezó cuando la directora creativa de la firma británica, Sandra Choi, descubrió en Instagram a este bull terrier, que se llama también Jimmy Choo, en el que su dueño, Rafael Mantesso, hacia divertidos dibujos donde su perro era el protagonista.

La diseñadora se enamoró enseguida del arte y la creatividad que desprendía y se puso en contacto con el artista. Fue así como surgió la colección de edición limitada #CHOO Hound formado por collares, bolsos, carteras, monederos, fundas de iPhone y estuches de maquillaje con la simpática imagen del bull terrier.

Una idea original aunque lo de tener el dibujo de una mascota que no es mía en el bolso, no sé, no me hago mucho a la idea pero bueno, estoy seguro que esta colección ¡arrasará!

The new capsule collection from Jimmy Choo goes on sale tomorrow, May 15. You’ve noticed it features a dog, right? Well, yes. It joins Karl Lagerfeld’s cat as the new V.I.P. pet of the fashion world. It all started when the creative director of the British company, Sandra Choi, discovered this bull terrier – also called Jimmy Choo – on Instagram, where his owner, Rafael Mantesso, drew amusing pictures starring his dog.

The designer instantly fell in love with the artwork and creativity that came shining through and got in touch with the artist. And so was born the limited-edition #CHOO Hound collection that comprises necklaces, handbags, wallets, purses, iPhone covers and makeup bags, all featuring the likeable image of the bull terrier.

It’s an original idea, although I’m not sure about having the picture of someone else’s pet on my handbag. I can’t quite get my head round it but I’m sure the collection will be a huge hit!
